Yes, skates are included in the ticket price and are available in a range of sizes. If you prefer, you’re welcome to bring your own skates.

The minimum age for skating is 4 years old. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted to skate. Child tickets are available for children and young people aged 4–17.

No problem! Wicklow on Ice is perfect for all skill levels. We recommend starting slow and using one of our skating aids if needed.

Yes, there is ample parking available on-site at Beyond the Trees Avondale, where they charge €5 per car.  Follow the signs when you arrive.

For safety reasons, we ask that you do not use phones or cameras while on the ice. However, feel free to take pictures from the side lines and in our designated photo areas.

Yes, we have a selection of refreshments and hot drinks available to warm up after your skating session.

No. Completed bookings cannot routinely be changed to another date/session, except where required by law.

No. Tickets are non-refundable except where required by law or where Wicklow on Ice cancels the booked service.

If you are unable to attend, your tickets can be transferred to other family and friends.

 Wicklow on Ice takes due care to make sure you are safe.  This is real ice and ice skating may involve a fall or accident.  There is no insurance cover for any injuries sustained while ice skating.

The park and Christmas market are free to walk around

The ice rink will remain open in nearly all weather situations. Please note that no refunds or exchanges will be provided due to adverse weather conditions. If you opt not to attend your scheduled session or decide to leave early because of the weather, no partial or full refund will be issued.

The rink operates in most weather. Choosing not to attend because of weather does not entitle you to a refund. If we cancel, affected customers will be contacted.

You may have less skating time. Late arrival does not entitle you to a refund or later session.

Where required, a parent/legal guardian must complete the relevant waiver/consent for a participant under 18.
