Wicklow On Ice Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 17 September 2026

These Terms apply to bookings for Wicklow on Ice operated by ELH Electric Events Ltd ("we", "us" or "our"). The person making a booking confirms acceptance for themselves and the members of their booking.

Operator and venue

ELH Electric Events Ltd, company number 635042, registered at Unit 6, Charvey Way, Charvey Lane, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow, A67 Y892, Ireland. Wicklow on Ice takes place at Beyond the Trees Avondale, Avondale Forest Park, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow, A67 P303.

Tickets and bookings

Tickets are valid only for the date, session and ticket type on the confirmation. Check all details before payment. Bookings are subject to availability, capacity and safety restrictions.

Refunds, cancellations and changes

All customer bookings are final. Except where required by law or where Wicklow on Ice cancels the booked service, tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged, transferred to another date or changed after booking. For leisure activities booked for a specific date or period, the normal 14-day online cancellation right does not generally apply. This does not affect statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If we cancel

If we cancel a session and do not provide the booked service, affected customers will be contacted and provided with the remedy required by applicable law. Where appropriate, an alternative session may be offered.

Weather

The rink operates in most weather conditions. Choosing not to attend, arriving late or leaving early because of weather does not create an entitlement to a refund. If conditions make operation unsafe, we may delay, suspend or cancel.

Arrival and duration

Public skating sessions last 45 minutes. Arrive early enough to check in and prepare. Late arrival may reduce skating time and does not entitle you to a refund or later session.

Children and supervision

Children must meet the minimum age stated for the ticket. Working rule pending confirmation: children under 12 remain under responsible adult supervision at the venue. A parent/legal guardian must provide any required consent or waiver for a participant under 18.

Safety

Ice skating carries inherent risks including slips, falls and collisions. Follow staff instructions and rink rules. We may refuse admission or remove anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive, intoxicated, disruptive or dangerous. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Sensory sessions

Reduced-capacity sensory sessions are at 10:00 on 5, 12 and 19 December 2026, capacity 40. The format may include reduced music/noise and a calmer environment.

Accessibility

We aim to make the event as accessible as reasonably possible. Contact [email protected] before booking where practical to discuss current facilities and reasonable assistance. Normal rink safety requirements apply.

Skating aids

Skating aids are limited and subject to availability and safety rules.

Prices and promotions

The total price and applicable charges are shown before payment. Prices may change for future unsold sessions or promotions, but not completed bookings. Promotions are subject to their stated dates, eligibility and availability and cannot normally be applied retrospectively or combined.

Photography

General event photography/filming may take place. Identifiable promotional imagery will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements and relevant notices or permissions.

Liability

Nothing excludes or limits liability where unlawful. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was made or losses arising from failure to follow reasonable safety instructions.

Personal data

Personal data is handled under the Wicklow on Ice Privacy Notice. Ticketing and payment providers may also provide privacy information for processing they undertake.

Contact and complaints

Contact [email protected] and include the booking reference where relevant.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Irish law. Consumers retain mandatory rights under applicable Irish and EU consumer law.
